I Review The Books Of H. Spencer Lewis Founder And Imperator Of AMORC
After finishing a review of Anti-Cult Literature, Pierre S. Freeman, author of a number of works describing the mind control elements of AMORC, decided to review the books of H. Spencer Lewis, founder of the Rosicrucian cult. “After looking in depth at AMORC from my own standpoint as a twenty-four year cult victim, I thought I would like to peer directly the heart of the founder. The work is titled, The Emperor-Imperator-Speaks, - Tales of the Puppet Master.
In reviewing Mental Poisoning, he shows the Puppet Master, in the guise of warning the public about the dangers of subliminal conditioning through suggestion, reveals his deep knowledge of hypnosis, giving him the intellectual and scientific platform to create a now 100 year old mind control program. In Self-Mastery and Fate with the Cycles of Life, he shows how Spencer projects himself as a great Maestro of modern business in a preface written by an anonymous author. He then questions the alleged foundations of his cosmology, the science of vibration- and explains how Lewis neglects its true role, helping man shape himself in the image of God. In Mansions of the Soul, Lewis explains the doctrine of reincarnation with a lame, fictional story of early man attempts at spiritual truth, ignoring the prehistoric conditions and semi-shamanistic teachings of Early Man.
In Rosicrucian Principles for the Home and Business, Freeman finds some useful questioning of the value of the need for shaping attempts at manifestation with the actual reality of the Cosmos. Still, he points out, although this book is kind of an advertisement for AMORC, it does conflict with much of what he learned in the monographs, promoting a teaching that does not really exist. In reviewing The Rosicrucian Manual, Freeman directly questions Spencer’s account of AMORC’s origins, his connections to Mussolini and Nazi Germany, the anti-Judaic and anti-Masonic positions of FUDOSI. He questions the seemingly spurious connection between AMORC and the Masters of Helena Blavatsky, a non-Rosicrucian tradition. No one historically has ever challenged AMORC and its founder’s works so directly.
